About PsychoactiveMap
Mapping the global landscape of psychedelic research
Why I Built This
Hey there! I'm Kupx - the developer who built PsychoactiveMap as a passion project. After exploring the potential of psychedelic research and struggling to find a centralized view of where studies were happening globally, I decided to create this platform.
This tool aims to make complex research data accessible in a fun and interactive way - for patients seeking treatment options, researchers exploring collaborations, healthcare professionals staying informed, and anyone curious about the therapeutic potential of psychedelic medicine.
How It Works
This platform aggregates data from ClinicalTrials.gov, the world's largest clinical trial registry. The data is cross-referenced, geocoded, and regularly updated through automated systems and manual review to maintain accuracy.
Now available in beta: a source-linked legislation map with partial coverage. Additional international sources and professionally reviewed multilingual legal guidance remain in progress.
How to Use PsychoactiveMap
Exploring the Map
Search institutions, filter by compound, click markers for details, zoom to explore regions.
Understanding the Data
Markers show research sites, colors indicate compounds, click for NCT IDs and source links.
Educational Purpose
This platform is designed for educational and research purposes only. I do not provide medical advice or promote the use of controlled substances. All information should be used in accordance with local laws and regulations.
